ANNOUNCEMENTS
Hello hello, long time no announcements! I admit, I used the last month as a partial recharge and was essentially useless for a lot of it (work has been sob cry lmao, so has the world lmao), but I did work on a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff and resolved some things that have been sitting around and tried to tie up a lot of old plot threads. Thank you all for that patience. I say it a million times, and everyone is always so kind and understanding about it, I am one potato but I do feel a little bad when I take too long on some things SO I REALLY DO APPRECIATE IT!!
But I feel a little bit more rejuvenated now, and I've got a lot of things this time around mwahaha.
♥ The weekend of May 9th will be the official return to the boat! There will be things happening throughout this week and Thursday or Friday there will be a kick-off post that will likely result in a performance/event of some sort. I'll get specific time to you guys as soon as I can! But the first thing will be tomorrow. :D

♥ APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN, PLACEMENTS WILL MAYBE BE THIS WEEK, MAYBE THE WEEK AFTER. I will go with the vibes of how tired people seem. BUT APPS THEMSELVES ARE OPEN!! We are back under 10 characters per team and it will remain that way, 8-9 will be the average with the occasional rare exception.
♥ Arrivals are going to be a little bit more different. We are essentially going into 'act II' so some things need to change to match it. The standard "invitation to the mystery boat" is going to be revamped to match the vibe, it might be a little more mysterious and spooky, ooo~ooo~.
♥ ACTIVITY CHECK IS UP. If you struggled in April, don't worry about it. I know a lot of people had some difficulty interacting with it, and that's not a problem with me. "What if I hiatus'd in March, I can't hiatus aga-" DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT. If you think you can pick up your A/C easy peasy in May, then I will trust you to do so. JUST NOTATE WHATEVER THREADS YOU DID OR NOTATE HIATUS.
Eonia is small atm so they're ac limits are not as stringent this month, and this will apply to any team that gets to around 5-6 in size okay okay.
♥ I don't think I notated this in the hiatus/drop page, and that's my bad I'LL ADD IT SOON, but anytime you want a specific thing for a drop or hiatus option, you're always allowed to tap me and ask. Like maybe you want to be on a small mini-quest and find some cool plot lore or maybe the "sleep" option doesn't appeal to you because it makes you sad. That's understandable! DM me or email Celi about it, you are not bothering me by asking for opportunities to do something.
♥ IN GENERAL, I've said this before and I'll say it again, you are ALWAYS welcome to poke me and ask me for help with anything. Do you feel you are bad at plot? Are you easily lost at what's going on? You are not the first and will not bw the last. I take no offense to it! And guess what, it's UNDERSTANDABLE.
This is a game where lots of little lore bits are scattered everywhere, it can be very hard to follow especially on a platform like DW (and no working search function ;;_;;). I try to gather all that info and place them in places where it's needed, but I admit, I am not fast about it since I struggle to figure out the best way to divvy out that info in a way that makes sense. And listen, even I forget some of my notes!! Some things contradict other info because I misstep in places!The family vs organization thing is my biggest crime I'm sorry.
I just want to reassure you, you're not stupid, you're not bad at plot, you are cool and awesome, okay. You don't HAVE to be invested in all of the plot (or any of it really), the game is meant to be the kind where you unravel bits of the world and the history of Estoria and shifting perspectives along the way. Your character might only care about one story or npc, and that's fine! I WILL SIT AND TALK TO YOU ABOUT STUFF, I ENJOY IT OKAY.
♥ THAT SAID, if you find you're invested in something, and you have no access to it directly, let me know, and I'll get you a path leading to what you're looking for. Just because one character has info and hasn't shared it to the public doesn't mean you're blocked out forever from it. Family specific stories should be reserved for the family to figure out, mind you, but I can work with you to make sure you have fun. So dm/email me!
♥ This is just a general reminder also to be mindful of tone within chat! This is not directed to any one team, this is just general reminders since I've seen a few oopsies here and there over the course of game and since I'm doing a hundred reminders, this is another one. Please do not be bossy in your own team chats, and please be mindful of people's input and try not to talk over them! Be nice to my gamerunners and gamerunners, be nice to your players! If you have an issue with something, it is okay to politely address it, but be mindful of tone, remember they are another person on the other side and might not realize how they're coming off. If you get oocly aggravated, it shows icly and vice versa so be mindful of that too! Don't talk neg about people in front of their salad, it's weird and ruded! Also if you have an issue about someone and you keep it to yourself, people aren't going to magically know what the problem! You have to give to receive, icly and oocly! as per my rules, COMMUNICATION IS KEY and if you don't know how to solve it, it is okay to ask me. I will be fair and honest and I like to look at all sides, so I will sometimes agree with you and sometimes will disagree with you, but I will always listen to you and likely I'll at least understand where you're coming from.
I cannot solve personal problems obviously, but I can at least try to make the rp experience better for everyone involved!!
♥ Personal player plots, also very legal, heck yeah. Again email me/dm me, I am very open to letting people kind of do a cool thing for themselves every so often.
♥ I'm going to add this Estoria post to locations, I love all of the lore people have made, it's so cool ;_; feel free to always suggestion more things.
♥ Family posts are being revamped, I have about half done and should be done by this week at the latest. I want it to be more clean and easier to parse, AND INCLUDE THE HEX CODE THEY'VE BEEN MISSING THIS ENTIRE TIME GOOD LORD.
♥ Currently I'm also working on a smaller quicknav for the journal top post, I'll get that up asap.
♥ NTS, Achievements/Other Monthlies to be updated.
♥ BLESSINGS SHOULD BE DONE, IF THERE ARE ANY OTHERS, TELL ME.
♥ Captcha has been having issues, I would recommend any large parties/games/etc have a backup post just in case.

♥ LAST BUT NOT LEAST CANON POWERS ACCESS ARE OFFICIALLY UNLOCKED. The process will begin tomorrow and full details on that will be added to pages. For normies who don't have superpowers, don't worry, you're not exempt from this. Normal characters who don't have "powers or magic" will still have access to [narrative themed superpowers]. Do you ever have characters that are so handsomely handsome of handsome levels per canon? That can be a charm ability. Are you an evil clown whose ability is to scare people with clown phobias? That can also be an ability. Think about the power details, but it will soon come to fruition. :D
