[Event] Secret Vision Swap

It's me, Cheshire, and I'll be running a vision swap event from Nov 14-Nov 21. This will be a Secret Santa-style exchange where your character receives a ~anonymous vision~ and has to find its rightful owner.

This event requires some advance sign-up and prep, so please read on!

Event Info

1. All participants receive an anonymous vision object. (Vision in this case refers to canon memories.)
2. The vision object contains a lightly anonymized vision belonging to an unknown other person. The only clue is a marking that indicates the owner's Family.
3. Participants must figure out who the vision belongs to and return the object to its rightful owner.
4. At the same time, someone else is going to have one of THEIR visions and (hopefully) be trying to return the vision to them.
5. If you hand the vision to the right owner, it will change shape. Hooray! You win a prize!

OOC

1. Players sign up in advance. Signing up means your character will receive a vision object during the event and you'll be asked to write an anonymized vision for another character to receive.
2. Once sign-ups close, I'll assign everyone who signed up a recipient. This is the person who will receive your character's anonymized vision. I'll do my best to honor all recipient requests, but no guarantees.
3. After receiving assignments, participants will have some time to write an anonymized vision for each of their characters' recipients. The vision can be one they've already received or it can be a brand new one. Anonymized means: names replaced with static, replacing places/jobs with obviously fictional counterparts, basically adding some guesswork into figuring out who the true owner is. Like Ask A Manager turning everyone into teapot manufacturers.
4. Players do NOT know whose vision their character has received. You'll have to figure it out along with your character!

I don't want to sign up to swap a vision, but I want to play too - You can help other people figure out who their vision object belongs to. If you participate this way, you won't receive a vision/power, but you'll still get a prize.

I'm a producer and want to be involved, just because. - You can join the fun in a couple different ways:

1. Contribute a pinch hit vision to the pool. If a player is unable to provide a vision for their recipient, I'll assign them one of the pinch hits.


2. Hang out in mingles and such to be sexy and mysterious red herrings. (If you contribute a pinch hit, please also do this so people can, like, give your vision back to you.)

Prizes

Participate by signing-up:
- One new vision OR one new power. If you anonymized a new vision for your recipient, you get that vision but de-anonymized. If you anonymized an old vision, you can get a new vision or power.
- Medium prize (nonperishable goods like a book, piece of clothing, jewelry, etc.)

- Medium prize (nonperishable goods like a book, piece of clothing, jewelry, etc.)
