PLOTTING POST - ONE
This is the Limelight Stage Plotting post. This is for those who might just want to put solid ideas that they have here.
I would use this when you have more solid ideas, but you can join the discord if you want to shoot the breeze and chatter about it first! You can just DM me for the link.

So 'literally just neighbor who he knows' is definitely a possibility, but some other options:
1. He sold his story for wealth and fame at a young age. idk if AU jade would be involved in anything like that? but probably when he was like 16 or 17 he started appearing on talk shows and doing interviews and podcasts about (actual awful tragedy that happened to him) so that he could make a name for himself and get $$$ so she could've been somehow involved in that process.
2. he is actively a vtuber who commentates and spreads gossip and shit so maybe something there?
ALL ELSE FAILING HE IS ALSO RIPE TO MAKE BAD DECISIONS IN THE FUTURE. YOU CAN FIT SO MUCH DESIRE AND LACK OF SELF WORTH INTO THIS GUY.

That is to say:
1) Maybe with her connections, she helped him get in touch with whoever he sold his story to. And then like a nosy aunt, she comes and checks up him, assists him maybe not professionally (actually I'll put a pin in that depending on where she gets placed) but like drives him to the interview, gets a ticket to join the audience, and then buys him lunch.
In parallel:
2) She is a reoccurring commenter on his vtube stream who oscillates between "well done, dear" to random fact checks (not necessarily true) so it's like will catchyusername666 (placeholder) be a fan or a hater today. But they both don't know they they are interacting with each other.
