This is the Limelight Stage Plotting post. This is for those who might just want to put solid ideas that they have here.

I would use this when you have more solid ideas, but you can join the discord if you want to shoot the breeze and chatter about it first! You can just DM me for the link.

I am probably apping both of these in this order so hmu for either but be aware if seconds can't be placed at start that Jing Yuan is going to be the one immediately available:

Player Name: CLEO

Character: Jing Yuan from Honkai: Star Rail
Potential Team Option: HOPEFULLY SUN SIGN
General AU idea: He's an animal conservationist who used to vlog his travels around the world to do animal scientisty things, and got a pretty significant follower count. Recently he decided to take a break from traveling in order to teach some university classes, but he's ready to get back on the road now. Also grew up in a wealthy political family and is very low-contact as his choice of career was not to his parents taste.
Roles/CR you're interested in: anything fun and friendshippy but a few ideas I think would be fun are like
- students from his or fellow faculty
- people he met in the field
- people he grew up with in rich people spheres
- fans of his vlogging channel
- maybe people who knew him in his wild "freshly away from a strict family" student days??
Wants and Dreams: I want him to be mmmostly living a happy life so that when he remembers his canon one it really messes w/him. I do, however, love melodrama so I'd love negative cr stuff too.


Character: Hydrangea Acantha (aka "Sacred Sundew Drosera") from MY OWN BRAIN (an OC)
Potential Team Option: I'm most interested in Acidia or maybe Forge as second choice, but I'm flexible! If you wanna tempt me to a different team I'm very open to it.
General AU idea: I don't know much yet except that I want to have some kind of dual life thing going on, and I want him to be from somewhere p remote who moved to a big city, so he's a recovering country bumpkin who struggles with unfamiliar and fancy high-tech things. He's only 19ish so he probably has a fairly menial job.
Roles/CR you're interested in: I'm open to w/e but some ideas would be
- people involved in some kind of shady underground thing that he could have fallen into
- a shop owner or smth similar to be his boss at his legit job
- friends who are helping him navigate big city life?? esp if they tease him cause he's social but p tsundere and easily flustered at the same time
- maybe not-friends who have some kind of toxic thing going on...
Wants and Dreams: I need Problems so I will prolly add smth messy to his AU, but if anyone wants to have smth messy with him I am also here for it from PCs. But I want him to feel like he's an ordinary person from an ordinary place who's just recently fallen into abnormal/scary things, because in "canon" his home was an isolated blood god cult village that did ritual cannibalism and I like the contrast.

Since she's not very social and going to be an amnesiac, and she won't have her Fox familiar!!! What if Lord Jing Yuan who brings her stories and helps her learn about animals!! Maybe he can help her pick out an animal companion...

MIGHT I OFFER JING YUAN one (1) rich kid he grew up with but lost contact with who loves snakes as much as he loves cats. Perhaps their only shared mutual interest growing up.

Alternatively, two people living their own completely separate lives but they always make time for a chess match every other Sunday.

Belatedly, YES! Maybe a combination? Like they knew eachother growing up and weren't super close but did enjoy talking about animals and playing chess. And now when they're both in the same place they'll meet for a coffee and a match, so it's a sort of odd point of stability?

Yes! Sign me up for friends/acquaintances only because they have existed so long in the peripherals of each other's spaces. Everything in life changes excepts Jing Yuan always pulls out his wins in the last five moves.

i imagine they at least know of or have met each other either via shared college classes or general biology interests/field research. maybe periodically share scientific papers a couple times a year

EXTREMELY BELATEDLY yes that would be cute. THEY ALSO HAVE A MUTUAL EX in Blade tho IDK if they would ever talk about him...

she probably would not mention it unprompted (unless doing so gave her a high chance of getting something she wanted, but. unlikely) but if he did she would definitely talk a bit. she's not particularly secretive about her exes but she's not really chatty either
