AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

✯Established Characters

For established characters, you can use this post as well! If you have an "open to all" type of CR where you're always needing a certain type of CR, you can do that here! This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

If Wrio was at the Facility with that age range, him and Graey woulda run into each other! Graey was a little terror brat of a kid who ended up leaving early aka running away around age 15 or 16, but he'd been there since infanthood.

Also some sort of CR with Hymn would be very funny to me but unsure what type.

Sounds great! he would have definitely always wondered how that worked out for graey... I think he might of thought of it himself a few times but was also too chickenshit to do it/leave the younger kids he was looking out for.

I am so down for something with Hymn, too. I only know that when he was little he and elegy got moved to their Aunt within Holy order because of their home situation. I'm super happy to plot with you something that works with them and bounce any ideas if you're interested. We can also keep it vague until we figure it out. Otherwise happy to make hymn a part of the new boat life somehow someway whether the two of them like it or not.

Sorry for not responding sooner, I've been trying to think of some way to smush them together.

Maybe something like a few run-ins? If Wrio attended fancy parties where celebrities are, he would have spotted Hymn sneaking about to get his photos.

And hmm, yes, I think it's fair to say he's gotta have been at some parties where there would have been celebrities, at the very least!

Hymn would have been disguising himself as staff and discretely taking photos of celebrities then before 'disappearing' in corners and stuff, if Wrio would notice that. Absolutely would have double-taked looking at Wrio because man hot but never outright tried to flirt with him since he uses that as a way to get better pictures usually. UNLESS you wanna go the route that he did attempt it once before, up to you!

So damn dedicated to his craft for good pictures!! does he sell them?

Wrio would notice, but unless Hymn is actually disrupting the party, he's not security so he'll just let him do as he likes. I am totally okay if he wants to try flirting, but also it's not necessary at all especially if it's one of his secret weapons for getting his pictures!

Either way, I assume Wrio just kinda watches because it must be pretty amusing/interesting watching Hymn dart around at a party. I'm sure it's even funnier the times Hymn gets caught judging from his adventures on the boat with the current celebs so far. Wrio would also be interested to hear his story one day, too, hehe.

He does, it's how he earns quick money.

Flirting's one of his tools but it's not much of a secret, so flirting with Wrio would have been a for himself treat.

And yeah, sometimes he has An Adventure so Hymn making a run for it and suddenly disappearing would have been a thing every now and then.

Then by all means let's let Hymm have a treat and flirt with Wrio for sure!

He deserves this (he does not).
