This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

AU idea(s):

He goes by the name Duran which i'm 99% decided is his last name, but I am still messing around with figuring a first for him. He doesn't let anyone other than a select few call him by his first, anyway (although if anyone wants to do CR from when he was a kid at the orphanage they would know his first name!)

He's the current stand-in Mafia leader for a prominent crime family as the seat is in reality currently vacant after his last boss's death. The heads of this Mafia family all go by the title of "Il Re," and it's a name many would know even just from rumors and hearsay because it's all a bit infamous. Anyone working in information, government, etc. would definitely know the name, but it's definitely been in documentaries, on the Internet, movies, and so on. The title prevents outsiders from easily knowing when a change of power takes place so it isn't like people will recognize him, but if anyone is into finding out the identity and/or hunting him down for whatever reason, let's plot!

I only have a few things backstory-wise for him other than that:

1. He grew up as an orphan at the Facility. So it's very possible people around his age that were there would also know him from that time (I'm putting him somewhere around 30-35, leaning towards 32ish). He graduated and then kind of disappeared without much trace. He was a very good big brother type, pretty laid back and easy to talk to.
2. Although he kinda fell off the face of the earth towards Forge as an organization after graduating and ultimately joined another, he still brings orphans to the Facility that he finds as he does break up human trafficking rings/deal with murder stuff/etc. He also donates to them very generously.
3. He does have a regular job, and it's as a licensed therapist.

Other than that, I'm still very open and looking to string things together for him. Hoping he can know quite a few people where possible since my other character barely knew and still barely knows anyone prior to getting on the boat.

Roles/CR you're interested in: gang/gafia/criminal syndicate ties, therapy patients, friends/fwb, co-workers, someone who knows how to make really good tea, gym buddies, younger characters (I mean literally anyone younger than him) that he's big brother type to/has tended to watch out for, drinking buddies, relatives, and basically open to anything else you can think of.

I'm also good with doing any rival or negative CR if anyone is up for that too.

Wants and Dreams: for therapy patients, I'm up for current, former, as well as former only because Wrio dropped them on the sidewalk outside his office for whatever reason including deciding dealing with their behavior/personality was not a thing he felt he's getting paid enough to do. This could be anything from they kept missing appointments to stalker behavior to simply being annoying and uncooperative enough that Wrio said "ok fuck it get out."

Basically, he's really good at noping out of situations and relationships once he's reached his threshold of whatever (usually patience with his patients...) and moving on with his life and some people who just won't let him forget they exist would be pretty fun while stuck on the boat.

Am also cool with any friends he may have ditched at some point in the past, although he is also a quite good friend when he decides he likes a person, so either type of friend is possible.

I can't really think of how they might have met before things. Wrio is eleven years older than Till. He ran away from home when he was 12, but I think that would have made Wrio kind of young for a therapist (and Forte would have avoided going to talk to anyone to begin with due to extreme trust issues, or would have gone silent/been difficult) As an adult he also just doesn't go to a therapist even though he'd probably benefit. Whoops oh well.

If you want some kind of connection, he doesn't know who his dad was and his mom was an abusive drug addict/alcoholic who always had *not great* people around. He has no idea where she is or if she is even alive and he also reallllly really doesn't care. She was more petty crime and drugs and a shitty mom than doing any super organized crime, but maybe she got wrapped into something or with someone that was so Wrio would have been adjacently aware or dealt with something in connection to her.

OR NOT. I'm just trying to toss out ideas.

Even if they have no past CR it will be fun to build something new for them =3


LIKEWISE... I'm not sure where Kasa and him would have met. He's always just at the shrine as the lil living god (or so his family likes to say). His family looks a lot better on paper than the branch family and they are an old family and very rich. But his grandfather has a few scary blessings and is pretty powerful/influential and people generally hop to obey him due to ~reasons~. So he would probably be familiar with the family name if nothing else.

If Wrio was at the Facility with that age range, him and Graey woulda run into each other! Graey was a little terror brat of a kid who ended up leaving early aka running away around age 15 or 16, but he'd been there since infanthood.

Also some sort of CR with Hymn would be very funny to me but unsure what type.

AU idea(s): I'm gonna lean into canon a bit with this. Mel's gonna be a pro wrestler under the ring name of Cassowary (but 'real' Nom de Plume of Rosefinch. If you've dated, she's asked you to call her this when in private, but only in private.).

- Big, flashy, high flying performance type. Who doesn't love to see people beat each other senseless in scripted matches? Kayfabe, the idea that wrestling is all real and these people really act like this, is still in force here. It's exhausting, sometimes.

- Story-wise, for the promotion, she's been a hero and a villain as it suits her. Currently a heel, drawing a lot of heat from Sun Sign after taking her opponents' boots and sticking them in a wood chipper after a match. (She'll swing back to face soon, this whole storyline is to boost up the new guy and she's 'jealous' now, but will swing in to save the day in a few months at the Violence Road event.) (They're making a new pair of boots for her to present to that wrestler to 'atone.')

- Parents were a Forge and a Siren's Melody. Neither of them really approves of her career, but they can at least sit down together for a meal now and then (when her schedule allows it).

- Doesn't have the strongest connection to the Averse. She's a member of the Family, all right, it's just that work has her on the road eighty days out of a rotation so she barely has any time to do anything with people who aren't with the promotion. This is the first vacation she's had in years.

- She's also put out three albums. Opera. Pop music. Symphonic metal. She's a spectacular singer who can identify and throw back any note you care to play at her, up to and including the crystal-shattering ones. She doesn't write her own songs, mind you, but who does these days? She probably could've been in Siren's Melodies, but they likely frown on beating people with steel chairs. (Also, she kinda feels like she's being judged by the Arias, even if they aren't. Projection, thy name is Rosefinch.)

- (Used to have a video channel where she'd review music and talk about how amazing the singers were. During a particularly stressful year, there may have been a breakdown where she might have said between sobs that she wished she went into music seriously. The entire channel vanished a few days later.)

- A big participant in the Grant-a-Wish charity for terminally ill kids.
Roles/CR you're interested in:
- Wrestleman fans are good. Haters are fine, too, you still buy tickets or watch on TV even if you want to see her face kicked in. She'll sign your action figures.
- Maybe you snagged her albums? Validate her. She'll sign your albums, too.
- Or that time(s) she posed for various magazines. She's gonna judge you pretty hard if you bring her a centerfold to sign, but she'll do it. (She'll put an extra flourish for anyone who brings her one of the actual sports or fashion mags, though.)
- Gym partners, maybe. She's not gonna sign your weights.
- Former romantic partners. (She probably broke up with you, though. Her work-life balance is bullshit and she doesn't want to sacrifice her career to be more available. She didn't even realize she was in a relationship with at least one person until she had to dump them over the phone.) She might've signed your body somewhere.
- Someone she can drop kayfabe around and just relax with. Jesus Christ, do you know how hard it is to be 'on' all the time just in case a fan sees you and realizes you're friends with the lady who tried to beat you to death in front of thousands of screaming fans? She'll sign something for you to sell online.
- Maybe someone who's treated her after a nasty injury. Lots of bad things can happen in this business! Sometimes she needs someone who'll patch her up or help with physical therapy. She'll sign your paychecks.
- Maybe someone who'll help her restructure her life because, babe, you are gonna burn out. You probably don't want her to sign anything at this point.

AU idea(s):
No one quite knows where Charvet de Clare came from. There have probably been whispers about the de Clare family around Estoria for years, with them being rich and, well, somewhat out of reach. They were traditionally a Holy Order family, and some in the Holy Order may recall the most recent generation having a daughter by the name of Sariel ("Sari") de Clare, though she was never seen in public.

This is all to say that about five years ago, Charvet swept onto the scene, accepted by the Sun Sign family, and opened up a courier service. To many, she appears to be a polite, upstanding member of society, managing her fleet of delivery people to serve all the families of Estoria. However, her business does also dabble in shady stuff, and she's been known to smuggle things and generally make certain deliveries with the utmost discretion. That said, she limits this activity to only certain couriers she knows she can trust. There are whispers about Estoria regarding her activities, but that's all they are — whispers.

BASICALLY, she comes from an old Holy Order family, but she's Sun Sign. She runs Estorian F*dex only less shitty and manages a bunch of couriers. Sometimes they transport shit under the radar and she tweaks the manifests so it looks totally legit. If you're into shady business, she may have coordinated deliveries for you, no questions asked.

Roles/CR you're interested in:
- Clients! People shipping normal shit, people shipping shady shit, it doesn't matter. She's the polite, refined lady that helps with the paperwork and makes sure things get to where it needs to go. If you're shipping something under the radar, she absolutely modified the manifest for only a nominal fee, super reasonable.
- Workers! She wouldn't have minors do the shady shipments ftr, but she's been known to hire part-time workers as well as give people temp jobs to pad their income in between work. Really all she cares about is if you can deliver the package on time and not throw it over a fence. If someone wants to be a worker she fired for that, that's fine too ig.
- Fellow underworld types, maybe? She'd gladly cut them a discount in return for referrals.
- Drinking buddies! She's been known to go to the nearest bar after work to unwind.
- Holy Orders who maybe knew her family are welcome too, ofc. She would be very evasive about any questions about the de Clares. dwbi.

AU idea(s): A young teenage son of a well-known weathy family in Unholy Disorder, Dante [insert surname here idk i'll figure it out unless people have ideas] is a bit bored with things and gearing up for being introduced by his family to Unholy Disorder. He spends most of his time messing around online on forums and stuff and even has a penpal he only knows online and maybe there's even schemes to try to get out of the whole introduction thing. Then, suddenly, HE VANISHES! Mystery! Around the same time, a young teen washes up from the ocean with narry a memory to him. He gets taken in by some helpful people and looked after until he can manage to take on work to get himself back on his feet. He forms a whole identity (name TBD) and life around this and started working for the HaZE agency as a baby aria intern working his way into either the talent area or managing the talent area.

- people who knew him when he was a wee lad before he disappeared, parents are probably well-known underworld types. probably pretend they never had a son after he vanished or something because i mean his choice to run away and not be found (they're probably still looking on the downlow, tho)

AU idea(s): popped up with amnesia a year or two ago and got nabbed by a criminal org that recruits amnesiacs bc easy targets and sometimes you just can't id them, which is v useful for #crime. he's eventually arrested for something serious (logistics pending) and gets a light to nonexistent sentence, whether bc there's a lack of evidence, self-defense, and/or someone legally (or not so legally) interfered. pppossibly has a blessing that makes it easier to get away with it, like shapeshifting, which also opens up avenues for identity theft (yay). he does feel strongly about doing the Right thing... but his interpretation of what that means might be a little generous.

gets taken in by sun sign partly bc blessed, partly bc it's a good look / someone pulled some strings, and partly bc it's a condition of his release, like please get this kid some adult supervision, what no, haha, of course he didn't do it, he would never—

currently does a bunch of courier-related odd jobs; he can be your angle or yuor bike-riding gig economy devil delivery guy of dubious legality. perhaps some of his gigs are sus (do not ask how he juggles this with school).

went by akira "lux" in his pre-family nasty crimeboy era, but also may have shamelessly lied and told the cops his name was a cat pun.

Roles/CR you're interested in: he obv has a narrow window for pregame cr, but it's pretty easy to leave an impression if your character met him when he didn't have anyone... he also would have been fending for himself pre-family, so maybe he pickpocketed your guy.

more specific options: shady cr, pls rope him into dodgy shit of various extremes. anyone involved in his case, or adults in general who got stuck checking on him / bailing him out / are varying degrees of good/bad influences lol. peers bc he trusts teens more easily than adults, with bonus points for encouraging his reckless streak and/or typical teen behavior. ppl he's gotten on the wrong side of (THE LAW). manipulative cr or people who've played him, even if they genuinely mean well.

if your character runs a business, there is a nonzero chance he's handled their deliveries / otherwise worked for/helped them out or just dropped off their lunch order. it would be hilarious to me personally if someone in the medical field used him as a guinea pig.

his arrest isn't public record, but i'm cool with it being an open secret in some circles or cr finding out about it one way or another. teachers/faculty probably know, though it makes for better contrast with canon if classmates have no clue 🤫

in general, if you wanna slot your character into his brief backstory, hmu because i will make this work.

Wants and Dreams: ren has provided moral support for multiple canonmates in their amnesia adventures, so now it's his turn 🥳 also please help me in my quest to make him wear glasses he does not need; it's going to happen no matter what bc i said so, but why not make it a group effort. also also, would someone like to be acquainted with him entirely bc they made his unwilling ass fill out a police report when a car clipped him on his bike... or perhaps they're the one who hit him lol.

AU idea(s): What I have so far is that he's from a family full of academic achievers (most have PHDs in their field, all work either at university or in a respected field) but he himself struggled with school and feels like the odd-man-out. His family loves him but he just feels Different. He's good at technical drawings (architecture, stained glass, blueprints, etc.) but he's hesitant to pursue further education.

I also don't have a Nom de Plume for Lalli yet, he's got one that his family and friends use but he's not the type to just tell people that kind of thing. So he'll just go by what others call him, he's not particularly attached to any Nom de Plume he's had before.

Roles/CR you're interested in: Lalli's family is pretty big, with plenty of aunts and uncles and second cousins and so forth. Distant or not-so-distant relatives are welcome. Also people who knew him in high school, or who knows of his family (since his family is relatively well-known in academia, especially his grandma, and he looks almost like a carbon-copy of his grandma), or anyone who could have seen Lalli drawing buildings and parks in his spare time.
Wants and Dreams: My greatest dream is for him to start with a lot of distance between himself and others, but to have that distance shrink over time. Lalli is like a cat: kind of prickly and not very friendly at first, but very loyal and caring to those he grows close to.

Hmm he's about the same age as Sam. Sam has amnesia now but they could have gone to the same high school (he was holy order when younger). Sam these days is always on the lookout for artists/artisans that are not well known and if he notices their stuff and likes them would definitely try to commission him for some blueprints or stained glass pieces if this interests you. So they could have remeeting after Sam disappears. He is actually very good with prickly types too even though he's very scared of making friends, so they might have an interesting dynamic to play it since he will easily initiate the interactions Lalli needs and then maybe they can both eventually help each other get over their distance issues.

AU idea(s): Grew up in the entertainment industry! His mom was a famous makeup artist (now retired), but instead of following in her footsteps he decided he wanted to be an ACTOR.

You know the ones who always play the goofy lackey to a villain, or the totally evil bad guy who actually ends up seeing the error of his ways? That's this guy! A lot of his work is family friendly, movies or one off TV shows, and mainly comedic/adventure stuff. So, recognizable but not a big huge celebrity or anything if you're above the age of like, 8.

Right before he disappeared he was caught up in a miiiinor scandal where he was allegedly caught gambling, oh no! . . . except it wasn't illegal gambling and just some wording taken out of context from an interview he did for his newest movie. Turns out, he just has a gacha problem.

But when he returned about a month ago, things TOTALLY went back to normal! Nothing off at all! HE IS COMPLETELY FINE HE WAS JUST TAKING A BREAK FOR UH STRESS REASONS.

Nah, he has amnesia and he's pretending really hard that he doesn't. His agency told him to do it and he doesn't want to disappoint his fans.
