AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

Please don't take anything listed here as "official". Players are allowed to refuse whatever they're not interested in and they can change their minds if they haven't played it out yet!

Once you comment, please join the discord and LINK your post into the links subchannel. If you haven't received access to the discord, DM Celi! If you haven't gotten permission to join the game yet, you'll have to DM me anyway since this game is friends only!

✯Established Characters

For established characters, you can use this post as well! If you have an "open to all" type of CR where you're always needing a certain type of CR, you can do that here! This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Whenever you reach your CR limit, feel free to comment to your toplevel with the header CLOSED to let new players know that you're not taking any more CR for the time being (of course you can still tag new potential players!). It will also close automatically once the new monthly post goes up.

AU idea(s): N/A HE IS FULL MEM LOSS BABY all he's been told/knows is he's some kind of renowned criminal of this world and he's taking part of the show as part of his sentence. Wack.
Roles/CR you're interested in: I HAVE NO PLANS and since he's memloss you can basically assume whatever you want and he will either 1) roll with it despite not knowing if its actual fact or 2) laugh in your face. I truly will not know until it happens.
Wants and Dreams: One of the blessings I'm giving him will let him keep his immortality/regen powers so this fucker can be cut up to pieces and still live. HOPING FOR HIM TO TERRORIZE OTHERS AND ALSO BE STEPPED ON.

steps on h- no I mean. hi I have a semi-feral semi-chill Unholy teen who has a secret-ish sideline in infobrokering and therefore keeps tabs on half the Estorian criminals so perhaps he can Know Things?? about crimes? he generally mostly goes after the seriously worst of the worst type criminals and drops info about them to ppl it'd be useful to but stays informed and does soft crimes himself so. THEY CAN ALSO JUST START FRESH, UP TO YOU.

belatedly i am an airhead and forgot the nuances of my own blessing

IT'S MENTAL FIRE, NOT REAL FIRE, here's actual deets:

- if you have hatred in your heart then you feel like you're being burned alive by black flames that only you can see. other people will just see u react to it
- physically you take no damage but the burning feels real. even if you know it's a mental effect it still mcfuckin hurts
- u can counter by focusing strongly on something else
- lasts idk 5-10 minutes

SO WITH THAT IN MIND, what timeframe/situation do u prefer, i'm easy
