Ohhh, that's perfect, Sam appreciates beautiful things and the expression of the artist more than having special specific ideas in mind so he would absolutely love that about her and her work. He'd still give her commission guidelines, but fully know there's chance for fun surprises. (He's also rich so like it's not a big deal to him if the commissions don't match since he can just pay again if he really wanted it.) He's also very patient.
I do like to think he's very good at being charming and flirtatious rather than creepy about his flirtations because he's also not ever looking for anything out of it other than to be positive towards the other individual, so that should be pretty safe, ehe.
Would she ever be open to teaching him some sculpting basics? I have Sam having done a lot of craft in his spare time (like he has no social life or friends so he spends a lot of time learning craft things) and he mostly likes to do it with food, but it would be really fun if I could say he actually got a few of his basics from someone who does work he admires, too, rather than like just scouring around Estoria youtube. Even if just like he could ask her basic questions about certain techniques and things.
