I'm partial to GOOD BROS FORGED IN THE FLAMES OF HEARTBREAK but frankly due to AU magic i don't see that as ruling out rebound either

Either rebound -> bros or bros -> finally a cat who can give him the emotional attention he NEEDS!!!!!!!!!

All of the above does make it funnier if he cant fucking tell which Vash is which
