Hello, hello! Now that January is here, I am slowly reviving myself from the hellscape that is December so I'm hoping to get more things rolling again!

◆In terms of plot information, here is a place where Showmaster ICly gave out a lot of info to the common public! This is so ppl can icly be aware of some of the stuff that's been floating around and having it in a centralized area! please note if there are any inconsistencies and i catch em ill let you know forgive me if i do ive had to change a lot along the way ok

◆If you missed this information, good news! Showmaster is now readily available to chat with. If she's not available, I'll notate it when you tag me, but otherwise, she's around!

◆ What library? Yes, we'll have a library (and other locations) soon! I'll have the description of that and new location quests will probably go up in the upcoming week, whoo!

Good evening! I hope your weekend has been swell!

As always, I appreciate the patience, I've been murdered by work and RL because we've been having to do overtime and manage customer service/medical billing calls on top of our regular job AND YOU KNOW, THATS KINDA BRAIN SUCKING!! Hecked up. However, that's why I'm pretty behind, on top of three birthdays on the same day, and I'm slowly working on catchup. unfortunately, I will still be doing some customer service things in the future, so I'll still be really busy and scattered brain.

But lets talk announcements!! There's a lot because there's always a lot.

◆ Mitzi is running an event, starting tomorrow. It'll last a few days, it is darker in theme, but there's a [fuck off and do something silly] option also. Stay tuned for that! It'll lead into something bigger in the future.

◆ I have found that 3 hr sit-down mini events do in fact work very well! Exploring events are great because it allows people to tag at their own speed and can be massive places to explore which is fun, but because my life is often busy, they take a long time to complete (and I feel very bad about that). I still plan to run exploring events because some things just require it (Acidia's upcoming tunnel explora, I'm looking at you ;)), but WITH THAT SAID, I'm going to start putting up "slots" on the calendar on random dates and times where teams can "claim" a plot event mini-game slot. Amnesia folk can also probably also claim slots, but let me see how it goes.

Forge and Sirens Melodies will be the first priority and after that, I'll come up with a process for claiming.

ANNOUNCEMENTS - 10/13/24

Good evening, happy Sunday! Many announcements today, huzzah!

I have finished overtime and have no more birthday obligations, my weekends should hopefully be less hell for the time being, prayerhands! I'll be catching up on any unanswered tags so as always, feel free to poke me if a few days have gone by and I haven't responded.

✯ You'll be seeing some game info pages disappear and look funky as I rearrange the navigation a bit. There are a LOT of pages, and the organization (to me) is confusing so I'm working to condense them in a way that makes sense. FOR EXAMPLE:

✯ PERFORMANCES AND MEMORIES are on their own page together. I added more information on memory loss characters, how new characters will receive information from others, information on producers, memory objects, and memory regain pacing advice. Please read it for new information!

✯ ACHIEVEMENTS AND OTHER MONTHLIES! This is a post with more detailed information on how achievements work. They've been updated and now applied ICly as of Day 215. This also has information on how to unlock new locations ICly and an updated hotel room menu for food!

✯ I will be re-updating family/organization and lore pages next (which I've already started working on). I know that there's a lot of information that's been thrown around, and some of it comes off contradicting in places so I'll work to clarify those areas. I know it gets very overwhelming to follow so HOPEFULLY, having it in a singular area will make it easier. In general, I know there's a lot of information everywhere hence the reorganization!

✯ Will work on blessings by next weekend, please get them in sooner than later, thanks!!

✯ Information on Death since that's now a thing in this game: You cannot die in this game. When you get to a point where your body cannot live on its own, your body will begin to pull itself back together. You do not regenerate limbs, your original limbs will come find you and reattach themselves to your body. This is the basic idea but I'll have more details soon.

✯ For characters in a coma (due to being dropped), you can visit them! If you ask the staff, they'll direct you to Captain Man, he'll take you to a ? floor near the Captain Man quarters and near it will be the Sleepy PPL Infirmary/Bedrooms (i will give it a different name, just consider it an infirmary for now). You'll find them in their own cushy rooms, sleeping peacefully, looking fine and healthy. I'll be adding this information to the hiatus/drop page soon!

✯ Did you know our nav page was private-locked all this time? My bad, I unlocked it so now new potential players can actually find it,,, I'll try to add it in the profile too.

✯ Flexible placements are still a thing!! I know some people were confused but it's still definitely a thing that'll happen especially when I'll start shrinking the game cap in the future. It's usually for people who will be in queue for a bit or people who are potentially interested in teams that are full, if you're gunning for a team that has open slots, you don't have to worry about it as much.

✯ A new AU plot post in a bit, that will be coming up sometime this week as well, thank you!! I'm thinking this will be updated bi-monthly.

✯ People mentioned wanting a newspaper type post, which will happen, but there might be additional fun things attached... stay tuned for that!!

Hello errybody!! Wow, we have proper announcements this week! Thanks for waiting patiently. We figured it wouldn't make sense to make bare announcements on Friday and then do a hundred on Sunday.

I am finally, hopefully, maybe, actually going to have Saturday OFF again so more modwork can be done along the way (knock on wood). Pray for me. SO ALL THE ANNOUNCEMENTS:

◆ Need an NPC? Katy added the handy dandy links up on the nav page where you can contact those that you need!

◆ My lord, we finally updated the nav with links to all of the profile codes in appropriate team colors. Sorry for that wait.

◆ Achievement turn in post is added! My dumbass will probably move it to the actual mod journal later, but for now, it's there anyway.

◆ I'm gonna get someone to add a toplevel view link to the layouts so people on mobile don't die.

◆ October 2nd, 2024, Wednesday - 6pm pst/9pm est ish, I WILL RUN A SMALL THING FOR AMNESIA-ONLY. However, if you can't make that time, I'll run something separate for you, just e-mail me.

◆ Memories page should FINALLY be done prior to Nishi's game. This will give kind of an outline on how memories work, how does regains to canon self work, what's the general pace you should follow, etc. We're just finalizing a few notes.

◆ There will probably be a part two announcements once more things are done, I took a half break this week and I've been out every Saturday. I will be out tomorrow too, heck! But Sunday THINGS WILL BE DONE.

Announcements - 08/23/24

I'm alive but at what cost. I have added a lot of info pages this time around so look forward to that!!

◆ I'll be running the very first game on Sunday, August 25th, we will say 10AM PST / 1PM EST / 6PM LONDON. It won't be murder and death, but possibly not exactly a romp in the flowers!

◆ A PERMANENT AU PLOT REQUEST PAGE!!! IS IN THE WORKS!! One of my main concerns has been with new characters getting integrated with the current characters in game. How do they get CR with established people? Plot posts do eventually get lost in the

So I was thinking of allowing current characters to comment into a post, saying what they're open to and leave those AU options OTA. Do you run a cafe and would be ok to having people to have worked at your cafe? Are you a teacher that needs students? new characters can just always go to this page and pick and choose and comment what works best for them. I'm working on the details still, but once this is finalized, we'll reopen apps, yay!!

ANNOUNCEMENTS - 08/16/24

Hello, hello! Nothing too crazy to announce today, instead it's more of a "what kind of updates can we expect" sort of post this time around! So here is a list of what is coming up:

♦ Locations and freedom will be tomorrow (probably evening) and then you'll be free to post whenever you like!

♦ I have plans to run a game next weekend, but I can move it depending on people's energy, I'll put feelers for it, but it will be locked to families!

If things start to break, it's probably because I'm fixing things so I appreciate the patience!

Also I had a couple of people ask, will this entire game take place on the boat forever? The answer is no, it'll likely shift along the way depending on the actions of the people. However, I know some people want to play out the backstories in the world proper which is honestly fair and understandable! I'm thinking once a month or two, we can have a post dedicated just to "past events prior to the boat" similar to dream posts, perhaps focusing around a specific theme like in-world holidays or festivals. And yes, it would count towards AC.

ANNOUNCEMENTS WOW

Hello, everyone, and welcome to the opening of Limelight Stage! What the heckies, IDK how we are here already, but I guess that's the power of time. I'm excited that you're all here to join me, and I thank literally everyone and their mother who has helped me with setting up stuff, giving me ideas, etc. I wanted to try and make a game that would be my own personal maximum indulgence catered specifically to my tastes, but I'm really glad that it seemed to intrigue a lot of other people as well so even if I made this game to my taste, I plan to run a game that will hopefully be something that everyone can find SOME enjoyment in!!

I will say I appreciate the patience that everyone has! I've never tried an AU game (or have done many AUs in general) so this is actually new territory for me, and you'll likely see me rearranging things, rewording things, changing things, etc. I'll try to remember to notate when I do update any of the pages so you'll likely see a LOT of changes in the coming weeks. Months. ~~Years~~. If you've been in one of my games, you shouldn't be surprised, ok, ok.

I know one thing that is causing some confusion is the overall themes/messages of this game. Is it plot heavy? Is it dark? Is it pvp? What is the whole point of any of this? I'll try to clarify a few things in some of the plot/setting posts for sure! But to give a basic rundown:

Everyone here has been given alternate memories once they arrived in this world. As they regain memories, there will be questions as to "why?" and "how?" when it comes to how they ended up this way. To answer these questions, you'll have to uncover some of the secrets of this world and that includes the secrets of the eight families. It isn't just your memories that have been forgotten. There will be many opportunities for that along the way

It's pretty vague because it's a game where part of the goal is to unlock the lore of the world! It's inspired a lot by stories like Mushishi, Honkai Starrail, Made in Abyss, Hunter x Hunter, etc. I'll do my best to help make things feel a little more concrete though, but I appreciate you all willing to work with my brain until then.

This is not a game that is built around the idea of pvp or pve, this is a game about unlocking and exploring the lore of the world and the lore within your own character. There will be pvp moments, there will be pve moments! It will have dark themes because identity and self can be dark, but also it is not meant to be a hopeless or stagnant game either (whether I can succeed on that is TBD but we'll see what happens!!). Also if you wonder if there will be physical and mental harm in events and games, the answer is yes.

Hopefully that gives off some of the vibes I'm aiming for! So let me get to some general announcements that I think are important!!

• Apps are now closed for the time being. This is to keep me sane in terms of getting everything situated and to let initial teams settle. I'll have to create a new intro for new characters that magically appear on a boat, you know!! You can swap characters if you would like. Also if a couple last minute apps appear, I'll probably let them in if it's within the first week so don't be surprised if someone gets a new teammate.

• Abilities and Powers: I'll work on this upcoming week, I APPRECIATE YOUR PATIENCE ON THAT.

• If you drop a character, I do not care if you still rp threads afterwards. There will be hiatus/drop options where a character can still be on the boat, just on a different floor. More on this later.

• Profile team templates are in announcements, I'll link them proper to the actual post this weekend. Thanks Cleo (she made them)!!!

• You'll see some of the teams get buffs (more flavortext) to their profile soon! I'll announce it when done!

• Quests and missions to be unlocked later! Stay tuned, there will be updates on that in the near future!

• Yes, we're still working on locations, I'm sorry forgive me.

• The first event is happening right now! The first team specific game will be on the weekend of August 22nd-August 24th, more on that later.
