AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!
Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Looking for Ore is a math teacher part time (high school) as well as owns and works in Forge's workshop! Here's his profile for more detail.

He's a regular at Brocade's cafe and frequents all sorts of other places because he's a creature of habit, so I'm down for anything!

she's 19, loaded as fuck, terrible at math, and loves to kiss boys. and sometimes girls. but mostly boys. some ideas:
- former student, spent more time kissing a different boy every week at the back of the classroom instead of listening
- doesn't actually need to be there at all. her dad sent her there to mingle with less privileged people, she stays for the cute boys. nerds are cute
- dresses like a normal person, Ore probably didn't know she was loaded until she tried to bribe him to fail a guy she reallllly liked at the time, with the equivalent of a year's salary, so he would stay in the same class (I assume this didn't work)
- once had an entire piano towed into his shop just because she wanted it painted blue right there and then and was too lazy to hire someone to come to her mansion
- had it towed back a week later because she changed her mind and wanted it gold. she honestly just wanted to see the look on Ore's face this time
- somewhere down the line she made it a personal goal to get Ore to make faces. it's funny. idk if she's ever succeeded but that won't deter her
- even after (begrudgingly) graduating his class, she has random objects towed to his shop sometimes to have painted. appliances. sheds. sculptures that probably shouldn't be painted. yes Forge are her personal painters now. i feel like sometimes they refuse jobs if they feel like they'll get sued for it and she just tries to bribe them with more and more money
NOT ALL OF THESE HAVE TO WORK i'm just throwing out ideas!! lmk whatchu think

Ore would politely turn her down and even send the stuff back if she did it, like please
Tho her being a former student is also funny, he would also not accept bribing there but would encourage her to try, look get through this class and you never have to math again

i figure we'll be talking about regains anyway but i'm leaning toward waiting til OreNue at least has some sheep stuff before giving Tafye hers, i have plenty of canon bs to give her pre-horrors so just keep in touch? as always if u have a pref lmk

As far as students go she's the enthusiastic type; turns shit in early and hangs back to ask follow-up questions about lectures, that sort of thing. If asked she wouldn't really know how to say that she enjoys math but she very clearly does, but any exams that necessitated written components would end up kind of
rambling... maybe not making a whole lot of sense... maybe some weird theories in there... but listen, it's fine.
