This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

- From a family associated with (either, maybe both) Forge or Cirrus but was orphaned very young
- Sickly and generally kept to herself in the orphanage infirmary, but pretty polite, docile and gullible despite the aloofness. Went by Eanna Pelles at the time but you could call her literally anything and if it sounded enough like you were talking to her she'd respond regardless of what it was.
- At some point when she was ~17 she disappeared for about half a year or so
- Reappeared she spent some time between Families; more than looking for a purpose, she'd just go wherever anyone asked her to.
- Is currently 22 and a fairly popular online personality, got big doing GRWM videos discussing astronomy/physics/quantum mechanics topics while doing her makeup
- In keeping with this success she occasionally sings/models/acts while in uni
- Online/public-facing persona is an Upbeat Quirky Girl (tm)
- But anyone who gets close enough to her to see her real face would be pretty aware that's just a front.
- She doesn't really know what to do without being directed and doesn't know what to do about that either and the internal landscape is like in general concerningly lacking.
- No, she will not self-actualize and she will not acknowledge or retain the implication that she should.

Any other notes: Friday is basically an idol who has been in the music business since he was an infant. Ristretto started more on the Y*utube side of things and made it into the mainstream from there, but it would be cool if they've crossed paths a few times! She's largely self-taught, but has a good singing voice; she tends to put on a more friendly and enthusiastic face in public so if they ever met up she'd likely try chatting him up or inviting him to things!

- Anyone that met her before she joined Sun Sign or after starting to live at the Café. She's an Amnesiac! I put up a pre-gaming post with prompts, so feel free to check that out or hit it up!

- Again, with Amnesia, she has no AU, but she could have briefly known/met people before meeting them again. Chance meetings, or even friendships before separating for whatever reason until they meet on the ship again, or heck, still keeping contact. She's just the weird fleeting companion who never really knew how to behave around people.

- I realize this doesn't make for very interesting backstory but things can be worked on, and it would be nice to have people who she did connect with before they'd have to part for some reason or the other OR still stay in touch with. Friends who helped her adapt to "normal" life, lovers, people who got to know her and accepted her quirks so meeting again would be pleasant (or silly) etc. In turn, she'd definitely do her best to assist them where she could with her blessings!

Any other notes: She's very introverted unless someone makes her feel safe, and will run off if she feels overstimulated, but don't take this personally! Just needs a little patience. She gets a little better at socialization and stranger danger after meeting people/spending time at the café, and the more "normalcy" she gets from people, the more comfortable she gets around them and tries to give them company. Maybe your character helped her get there! It's all gucci.

Till is a somewhat moody but secretly sentimental young 21-year-old aspiring metal/rock and roller. His singer and online handle name is Anarchy. He uses Forte for places like work, or school, or where Anarchy might cause a bit of trouble.

In his AU, Till was raised in an abusive/neglectful household as a child. His mother was an alcoholic and drug addict and dated the wrong sort. And he doesn't know his biological father. As a result of how bad home was, he spent most of his time trying to avoid it when he was young.

Around the time when he was 12ish, he was actively running away from home, couch surfing, or even finding places to sleep outside/abandoned buildings. After trying to steal from her once, Star (Hyuna) slowly earned his trust and eventually, he ended up sleeping there so often that she just gave him a key, and helped teach him music and various instruments. As a musical genius, he took to it quickly and greatly admires her as a big sister sort.

He has a lot of distrust toward the police and the law and systems in place in general as a result of his childhood, especially since he was often dragged back to his house before he found a place with Hynua. He's gotten in trouble in the past and occasionally mixed up with the wrong crowd, but fortunately, Star was around to give him a good base. He dropped in and out of school when he was younger and was frequently delinquent with his attendance, but eventually got whatever equivalent there is to a GED in high school and focused on work instead.

He's worked in SO MANY PLACES. And often will work under the table if he's able to for extra cash. He's a hard worker though...! So anyone looking for current or old coworkers, it's game to say they've worked together before! Presently, he works at the Cat Cafe that Brocade (Sett) owns, as well as a bar, and takes whatever musical gigs he can get on the side.

He also puts some of his music and covers online, as well as streams when he games, so anyone is free to recognize him from that.

I don't imagine that anyone wants to be part of the negative parts of his past, but knowing him from back then is fine! Basically, I'm open to a lot of things! People in his band, old roommates, coworkers, or even people he might have dated once upon a time are fair game if you think they'd have clicked with him! (He's bi but a useless individual around girls he might like most the time.)

He also always has his bird wings out (From his blessing). If asked, he'll tell you he's a bird of prey, but he's actually just a lil shiba enaga songbird.

I don't have any super solidified ideas for her limelight au JUST yet but the working thoughts are as follows:

- Either a detective or private investigator or otherwise Professional Stalker (illegal/gang work would ALSO be really fun to explore since she's usually very justice-minded)
- has definitely killed a person probably. maybe. this is up for debate
- Is/has always been a little sickly, gets frequent fevers and/or hallucinations, but generally not entirely enough to keep her out of commission for more than a day or two.
- this is just an overall character thing but she's Very Intense whether it's about work, love, hobbies, faith, etc... but her general personality is pretty easygoing so it's easy to never know what a freak she is about certain things.

- Students?? Since she'll teach self-defense at least on the weekends for those who want. She was probably a champion martial artist in high school I don't make the rules.

- Someone to either encourage/discourage/stop her when she!! probably does an accidental* crime for what she deems is the right thing.
* it is not an accident you deserved it.
- Some jobs I'm considering depend on actual family. I did think about leaning into her desire to protect children in some form??? child protective services, so maybe if there's any kids who needed that kind of sheltering idk.
- Anyone/everything!! People to go out shopping with. Or hobbyist - maybe you tackle some mechanical problem together? They sparred once when they were 6 and now they do it every month.




Any other notes:
I'm leaving some aspects of her AU up to whatever family she may end up in but as a general rule:

- My approach to Nebula is 100% "this is a life without Thanos and she can be happy". So there's a lot of elements spread in interviews/side stories that shows Nebula on her own is a softer character. So this is an exploration of that side of her because of that sheee
- Led an entirely happy/normal homelife. Her family was loving! There was no abuse! Trauma! She was a middle child and was well-loved and encouraged to be herself wow. Failure was seen as a learning experience and not a trauma experience.
- She was a tomboy as a child and then in late teenage years/adulthood was more willing to embrace her femineity. Still absolutely willing to kick anyone's butt who slighted her, but definitely more of the feminine fatale angle.
- Her current occupation I'm kind of on the fence about ?? And will determined based on her family. She is still an excellent martial artists and melee arms user and probably teaches kids it/self-defense as a hobby on the side.
- Just because we don't get a lot of it, she's actually at least an A-grade mechanic and tinkers for fun. I'm still 50/50 on if I want her AU self to lose an arm in an accident and have made her own prosthetic. Things to decide on.
- The "guardian" aspect of her character is still going to be important in the AU! So while that does depend partly on family I just imagine her as a minor vigilante... if said vigilante wouldn't be totally noticeable cause she's blue :')
- Probably goes to Brocade's cat cafe fairly regularly??? Not every day but enough. Maybe adopted a cat from him once.
- Leaning into some what if? heist Nebula and comic vibes: I fail at it, but she can be a bit flirtacious/playful. I'd love for some kind of past romances/flings and gender doesn't matter to her as long as it's interesting.
- Maybe has a vlog channel that's not-really-but-kind of the detective work ala peter parker/clark kent idk
- Known for dry humor and teasing and while when push comes to shove she won't hesitate to bite back she does not immediately go for anger. A lot more willing to show emotion and specifically be empathetic to others. The kind of person to listen and help you take action.
- But also she's a guardian and she may be the least numbskully of them but they're all idiots... she's gonna do stupid things and shrug it off sometimes because you can't hold the braincell all the time???
- Imagine if she was a therapist and then canon happened tbh

Tentative!1 Very tentative. But the "I'm not apping a second" to "I thought about a possible second too hard and now I want to play them" pipeline is both real and dangerous.

- Sun Sign (mostly because sun imagery is hilarious for canon reasons)
- idk I usually just throw myself at the mercy of the mods
AU idea(s): Overall, I'm aiming for an AU where he still has his current personality BUT has managed to find a place for himself within a community. A place that doesn't involve murder even a little. Here are some details:

- Laidback, mercurial, nihilistic, and has a morbid sense of humor. Foul-mouthed, but not in an angry way, though he can come across as abrasive and sometimes decides to push buttons for kicks. Despite this, he is a pretty relaxed individual and loyal to his friends.
- The black sheep and disappointment of his family, from whom he is estranged.
- Dropped out of college, drifted for a few years, and eventually embarked on a career as a tattoo artist. He completed his apprenticeship a couple years ago and has been busy establishing himself since then.
- During his apprenticeship, he worked a bunch of jobs to keep himself afloat.
- In his downtime, he likes to do parkour and break into explore abandoned places. Posts about his adventures online sometimes.
- Has spent the past five years trying unsuccessfully to quit smoking. He's at least managed to cut back significantly.
- Despite being 28 years old with a reasonably successful artistic career, he remains a hot mess. He's trying to fix that. Sort of.

- Friends with benefits/flings/fuckbuddies/etc. He's not looking for a relationship (and I'm not interested in RPing a relationship with this character, though I remain open to possibilities), but he does enjoy sex. Wants and Dreams: Crow is a character who's highly resistant to change in himself for various reasons. Imeeji forced him down the beginning of the path of dealing with his problems, and I mostly just want to continue that arc and see where it goes. An AU seems like an interesting way to force him to explore new possibilities about what his life could be like.

Also, he didn't have his cool fun powers and such from being an Abyssal Exalt in Imeeji, so it would be fun to play with his canon powers once he starts getting those memories and skills back.

AU idea(s): Katsue, under the nom de plume of Acala (for the Buddhist divinity), was brought up in a somewhat secluded small town that is very very run by Holy Order. I wanted her to be from a more closed-off/cut-off environment so that she could be raised under teachings that may be viewed as kind of fringe and surprising even by other members of Holy Order. The town is more or less governed under the jurisdiction of a church/temple/equivalent (vague fictionalized religion vaguely drawing from both Buddhism because Katsue is originally Buddhist and Christianity because I can't help myself), and Acala could either be a child of the family which runs said church, or from an orphanage run by said church. The environment she grew up in was both exceedingly generous with affection and exceedingly severe with punishment, and Acala models and reflects these teachings back without compunction.

She was brought out of her small town and came to a city a few years prior to boarding the ship, but I haven't figured out why yet

note: she probably had a different nom de plume when she was a teeny tiny child, Acala was one she chose for herself when she was still probably quite young and has used it until this point, but she will be picking a new one shortly after getting on the boat

AU Story:

- Born to famous A-List movie star Régine Crowne (stage name, no one knew his real name), who was even more famously murdered by being poisoned already dying while filming his final role, only to succumb to an actual serial killer when he went home, Belle was stolen away by Régine's maid to protect him and left at an orphanage.

- He was an incredibly beautiful young man, though very solitary and studious, excelling in sciences and performance. He would often be pursued by talent scouts during school stage shows, which he'd turn down for his education. He looked after himself, training and maintaining his appearance and strength.

- As a teenager, some of his family began to notice he looked very similar to the late actor Régine while watching a movie from the actor's youth, causing him to wonder if they were related.

- Unable to afford higher schooling like he required as the orphanage couldn't fund him and he wasn't able to get a scholarship because of some bullshit, he began to work full time, taking on whatever jobs he could and eventually started to work at a modeling agency to be able to leave the orphanage and provide some funds to pay them back for their care, being paid generously for his work enough to save up as well.

- One night, he witnessed a horrifying murder by an underground group whole going home and was spotted while escaping, however he managed to outsmart his pursuers and took them down- his agency, Pyroxene, also a front for an underground group Fiore Omena, came to his aid in the nick of time, but to protect their secret and to ensure no harm came to his orphanage family, he was bound to secrecy and made to join them.

- He agreed on the condition that he would be continued to be funded and no one would interfere in his career. In turn, he'd do as they asked with his skill in science and performance, until he turned eighteen. The boss agreed, as Belle would be an excellent entry into the entertainment industry, and encouraged him to petition the Sirens Family. With his knowledge of medicine and drugs and rare plants as well as his smarts around networking, he became an asset they couldn't risk losing. (Interestingly enough, this also got him connected with assisting law enforcement where it became necessary.)

- Working as an informant under the name of Ella Régine and becoming a great source of communication, Belle was very cared for, and his career rose quickly. He became popular for his roles in action and action-fantasy movies, limited run adventure/romance tv shows, stage performances for charity and songs as the actor Bijou Melora, yet kept a very private life- barely anyone knows about him outside of his modeling/public persona and he keeps it that way intentionally, creating confusion with many names and hiding in plain sight. He also does female roles with ease, but his public persona is known to be male/nonbinary.

- His fashion and beauty brand Bijou Ténèbres and Bijou Félicité also became very popular, and his star was on the rise.

- After he turned 18, he handed over operations of Bijou Ténèbres and Bijou Félicité to the boss of the Underground group Fiore Omena, and only oversaw quality control for their products while using their front to appeal to high-profile clients, with a more affordable fashion and beauty business for regular consumers in Bijou Félicité.

- To date, no one but those affiliated with the group know who really controls it, and half of its profits are anonymously donated to the orphanage Belle disappeared from.

- His star persona is a bit of a playboy and charmer and he's dated many high-profile celebrities, or so the tabloids say. Anyone who claims to have dated him has only ever praised him, an image discreetly controlled by his former boss who still looks out for him after all he's done.

- No one knows his true age, but the mystery keeps his charm- he's done a lot of work assisting even law enforcement, reporters and big name companies with chemical and medical work as Belle Melusine/Melusine, and keeps his personal identity as separate from his work as possible. Also goes to university as his Belle Crowne identity to keep things normal for himself, but mostly does online courses if he doesn't have to go to class.

- This has made him difficult to get close to for real, and made him very lonely as a result, but he's going to find out who killed his father and why, and that will be his focus moving forward.

- Born to a very old traditional family with considerable wealth due to their influence over time. They are famous for owning an ancient shrine that they are connected to, where people lowkey pray to the family to bring good fortune, due to their unusual appearances as winged foxes, and the fact that they are considered 'lucky' and 'pure'. It is not uncommon to see foxes living on the premises of their shrine. It is also known for hosting traditional dance and other performances, which Tsukasa has been trained to participate in often.

- Mostly raised privately away from other children because his parents considered him 'gifted' and 'special'. A little lonely, but at some point he began to sneak out (or other children snuck in?) and he did at least manage to make a few friends that way. (Plot with me for this?)

- He was home-schooled most of his life but did manage to convince his parents to allow him to attend high school, and is in his second year. He takes advanced classes and is at the top of his grade! His parents wish for him to get a good education and then properly take over the shrine again. Due to his position at the shrine, people tend to be nervous to approach him at school though, believing him a bit untouchable, especially due to his unique appearance.

- His main area of focus is the study of medicine. His father has a terminal illness that they keep quiet about from the public, which has plagued some members of the family for generations. He is terrified of losing his father and of one day contracting the same illness. This is why his preferred study is on medicine in general. His family, however, disapproves as the will of the gods is the will of the gods. Despite this, he is still studying and searching for answers... but also stressed as these studies and further education would put him at odds with his family at large.

- Connected to the family is another mysterious branch family...? No one knows much about them, including Tsukasa. (Connected to the illness somehow? Silent protectors? Something else? I just wanted the branch family secretly included somehow. People are free to use this connection as a hook if they like and or for additional ideas.)

She has also been trained like him since birth to be an idol and in the spotlight, but she has the added benefit of being really (like REALLY) sheltered from the less pleasant aspects of both their family and the celebrity world. the biggest thing you need to know about her is she is happy and friendly and loves people and also has like no trauma/drama/difficulties in celebrity life or anything (I need to balance out Sam's)

I mainly kept Robin's being an idol and her being into humanitarian-type affairs from canon in her AU as Ava. I'm thinking she's pretty famous, but she doesn't do as much stuff as the idols of similar fame because she's always running around wanting to try and do charity events and things (or like ... fly to refugee camp and perform there for the people and help with food distribution and stuff). It's more likely to find her randomly performing at a children's earth day celebration unexpectedly than her actually doing established concerts or tours. All Ava cares about in regards to her idol career is that she can sing to her heart's content, and that she can make people happy with her songs.

Ava also tends to sneak out a lot in various disguises to try and better connect with fans and what kind of music makes people happy. Her disguises really suck though especially because she often forgets to hide her ear wings.

Also she thinks spooky things are pretty neat (she will scream if she ever sees a real ghost though), and likes some things like spook stories. She is a big risk taker and enjoys her life to the fullest.

basically her life right now is just very open and slice of life and no drama because she's that sheltered. That said, I'm happy to join in drama if you got some to offer me ehehe. . I can adjust easily because I don't have anything super detailed for her ATM, which I hope will make up for how I didn't have time to do pregame CR for Sam.


Besides being an idol, she likes to play violin (lindsey sterling vibes), fence, race cars, and parkour (clearly it was the solution to her constantly getting caught and dragged back home so easily. )

THE PET COCONUT CRAB...

Also she brought her pet coconut crab because Katy said I could. She found him when visiting the Seastar Ocean, and didn't know it was a coconut crab (and neither did Friday when he let her keep it whoops.) It's a big blue/teal crab with a hug pink ribbon bow. You can't miss it. He also has been supplied coconuts, but you still might find him jumping out of a trash can. If you aren't familiar with coconut crabs, they actually like to YOLO jump out of coconut trees after getting their coconuts, so if you need something to fall out of the ceiling onto your character randomly like a piano or anything else, you go permission to find the crab being a menace. Crab's name is Will Smith, but it's usually called Coco...for... yeah. You can call him whatever you want. I'll put a post up in her profile for anyone wanting to know how Coco would act if they wanna use him to bash through a wall (you will receive a bill) like a jumpscare horror movie or just be a menace. alternatively, if you need something that has the crushing power of 3,300 newtons (~ 750 lbs, 340 kg) or needs a helper to life ~50-60lbs easily, he's available to yoink and help.

The crab actually will also steal shiny things and run off with them, but if you start missing random things maybe find out if you got a crab thief. And finally, the crab is not aggressive and is very friendly but will bully people with its claws (by snapping at them) and follow them around if they're freaking out. Won't actually attack with claws other than maybe try to bang someone on the head with a coconut if you've really started a brawl with him. You will find that Coco will conveniently reverse himself if you mention the word Fried or have a pot and start coming at him. He's got a lot of trauma from Belle.

Oh yeah, the crab can't swim. so if it is at the bottom of a pool or something, it's dying. please save it.

AU idea(s): Zhongli is an orphan who was raised by his aunties who he loves dearly. He worked various customer and office assistant jobs and lived a generally trauma-free life until his best friend was convicted of a crime he didn't commit. Since then, he has taken a hard turn to study to become a lawyer (specifically a public defender) and works part time at the local coffee shop to keep his student loans manageable. It was during this time he was picked up by the Holy Order.

His two major personality differences from canon will be that he's extremely frugal with money and he will act age-appropriate (late 20s/early 30s range what is gacha age idk).
