Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

AU idea(s):

- Born to a very old traditional family with considerable wealth due to their influence over time. They are famous for owning an ancient shrine that they are connected to, where people lowkey pray to the family to bring good fortune, due to their unusual appearances as winged foxes, and the fact that they are considered 'lucky' and 'pure'. It is not uncommon to see foxes living on the premises of their shrine. It is also known for hosting traditional dance and other performances, which Tsukasa has been trained to participate in often.

- Mostly raised privately away from other children because his parents considered him 'gifted' and 'special'. A little lonely, but at some point he began to sneak out (or other children snuck in?) and he did at least manage to make a few friends that way. (Plot with me for this?)

- He was home-schooled most of his life but did manage to convince his parents to allow him to attend high school, and is in his second year. He takes advanced classes and is at the top of his grade! His parents wish for him to get a good education and then properly take over the shrine again. Due to his position at the shrine, people tend to be nervous to approach him at school though, believing him a bit untouchable, especially due to his unique appearance.

- His main area of focus is the study of medicine. His father has a terminal illness that they keep quiet about from the public, which has plagued some members of the family for generations. He is terrified of losing his father and of one day contracting the same illness. This is why his preferred study is on medicine in general. His family, however, disapproves as the will of the gods is the will of the gods. Despite this, he is still studying and searching for answers... but also stressed as these studies and further education would put him at odds with his family at large.

- Connected to the family is another mysterious branch family...? No one knows much about them, including Tsukasa. (Connected to the illness somehow? Silent protectors? Something else? I just wanted the branch family secretly included somehow. People are free to use this connection as a hook if they like and or for additional ideas.)

Roles/CR you're interested in:

- Childhood friends? Other well-to-do children in similar circles OR children who snuck onto his property that he met that way. Maybe they were dared, only to meet a mini lil foxboy when he was younger? Or maybe he wandered off from home one day, got lost, and was found by someone or a small group and they helped him and became friends that way.

- Classmates! Whether new or old friends or rivals! People he goes to school with would be great! Negative or positive CR is good.

- Individuals connected to his family. Perhaps someone who believes in the worship at the shrine (a follower), or someone who works for the family and or is part of the more secret part of the family. I'm good with with all kinds of ideas. OR maybe someone who opposes and denounces them? All CR is good CR.

- Teachers and tutors (from school or from when he was home-schooled) and others in his life are all good too!

Wants and Dreams: Anything and everything! I want to poke everyone so much!

I almost said "Cres" wheeze. BUT- lmfao... Tsukasa probably hasn't had too much opportunity to visit a place like a cafe in general. But him stumbling on him at the shrine would work just fine! Or if they go to the same school, he could know him from there!

I do think he'd be charmed by the cat cafe though. Time to meet them all now on the ship.

Possibly their parents have met before briefly but Nettle's parents are more for welcoming newcomers into the family and a place to stop before moving into more permanent housing.

Nettle probably stolen little objects from the shrine??

TUTOR TIME!

Tsukasa is a good tutor so I'd love for him to maybe be shoved at Nettle. Since he doesn't often interact with people at school I could see the staff thinking they might help benefit each other. He'd be very excited to try and help him in general.

And stealing items from the shrine is also cute. Steals some of the lil souvenirs.

Around age 10 he was using his devil wings and learning to fly when he crashed into the family shrine grounds and met Kasa! Hyacinth was also along so all three ended up becoming friends, with Snow and Hyacinth continuing to break in repeatedly for friendshipping after that. Snow would have kept visiting up until Kasa had a little more freedom to, you know, meet normally (although Snow could have definitely refined his flight to visit through a window or something ig if Kasa called him over idk up to you)

CUTE CUTE CUTE. Maybe they had secret ways of communicating. Like something in his window if he wants a visitor. He would have helped find easier ways in for them both to come in too (a secret way through the fence or something maybe? WHO KNOWS.)

Either way, this is very cute.

Yeeeah it's probably for the best that cinth did not just keep breaking the lock to get in... But Snow could definitely drop by with flight if he happened to be walking by and saw something in the window hehe.

That's go with that. Would he want some cute little symbol? Or candle/lamp in the window?

I need all the Heather CR, maybe Princess could know him if he comes to the cafe, Vil I think may have done an odd job or so at the shrine when younger so maybe he saw baby Kasa and could likely meet him as an adult. Also want something with Till, but anyway. THINGS WE CAN TALK ABOUT.

Rowan probably hasn't really been to the cafe or a number of places before due to his overly protective parents and not getting out much. BUT!! I am happy just to have him meet them on the ship and get along!!

Vil meeting a young Kasa at the shrine is cute though. He would have read as very sheltered, but curious and sweet overall. But proper if in any public eyes. Them meeting later as adults would be fun too. Will Vil still be in school? Is he graduated and working already? Or maybe since Tsukasa's family is well-to-do they could have met at a high society function? Even if his family tends to try and stay away from modern glitz and glam.

AND ALSO TILL AND VIL! Till honestly complains about Siren's Melodies a lot and hates some of their sell-out pop (according to Till), but since he loves music he does have some there he respects or admires. He's just Till about everything. Their aesthetics are completely opposite but they would be fun to cross paths.

Aloe (wrote 'Minuet' and had to backspace, FUCK) is a pretty prominent healer/apothecary, so there might be a hook there?? Either someone the family contacted on the DL to see if he could help or someone Kasa decided to study under to learn more about medicine.

Oh, I like that idea. I can see half the family being against seeking medical help because WILL OF THE GODS bs but then some secretly like "actually pls help". Val/Rowan would absolutely want to train with/under someone while trying to figure out a cure or something to help. The family in the know would be happy to toss lots of money his way for the aid.

HE'S [secretly in the mafia] GOOD AT BEING DISCREET!!!! he'd take any money though. he has mouths to feed (RUGGIE)

Aloe secretly stepping in to help Kasa's dad would definitely be an easy in for approaching him like "teach me"

If he knows Azalea it's likely from her tea shop/confectioneries store where she mostly serves tea and traditional sweets, though she does also offer healing/etc services for those who Know.

Valerian probably hasn't gotten out much, but I can see a traditional tea/sweets shop being one of the rare occasions to this!

What sort of healing does she have?

General herbal remedies you could find from most Acidias, though she doesn't explicitly specialize in Healing. she's more interested in the biology of things

hello fellow rich kid OKAY IT WOULD BE HILARIOUS to me, if Tsukasa knows Tim is rich and Till doesn't. terrible. BUT YEAH he would have been a tiny rich genius being shown off by his parents as Amantius, BUT he also sneaked around the city as a tiny, so he could also be one of Tsukasa's escape friends. like finds this tiny fox boy wandering around and decides he simply must make sure he gets home safe, but has some fun on the way.

OPTIONALLY, if Tsukasa is sneaking out at night, he can know his sneak-around friend as Crow, and possibly not that it's the same person as Tius/Heron, since he uses a disguise? I'm easy on working out something fun there if you want.

This is so amusing. Till not realizing at all... meanwhile, he's been a rich boy all along!

I like the idea that they met when introduced in some society function. But at some point, he found him lost outside of his residence and helped get him home with fun along the way! He might not have snuck out much after that, unless directly outside the residence since the outside is scary...!

But if he visited the shrine occasionally, since he also comes from a well-to-do family I can see his parents being a little more chill about it. Like oh... good connections with his family are a benefit to the shrine.

As for having found him lost while bitty, I just imagine him crying and hiding somewhere while not sure what to do until Amantius finds him.

YEAH ALL OF THIS. as Amantius he probably acted like a good little obedient kid while visiting the shrine so that he could visit more often with his parents, once he clocked that Tsukasa was pretty isolated. and his parents were both rich and uh. into smuggling artifacts so maybe they also hooked the shrine up with some religious relics that were hard to get through legal channels. Disorder family connection perks.

THAT'S SO SAD AND CUTE. Tius hearing the crying and coming to find him and oh it's the boy from the shrine. TIME TO RESCUE AND REASSURE. especially since he's a couple years younger than Amantius, he'd be gentle and helpful. and have all the more reason to visit him at the shrine either legit or by sneaking in to check on him.
