AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

✯Established Characters

For established characters, you can use this post as well! If you have an "open to all" type of CR where you're always needing a certain type of CR, you can do that here! This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

- Friends in alt settings. People who go to garage shows, frequent dive bars, can be found behind the Arby's selling or smoking 🍃

- Past clients! Titanium does tattoo work, but also does a lot of handy work for cash on the side. Maybe he fixed your sink, or built a deck for you, especially if you were kind of hard up for cash or wanted it done without too much fuss

- Flings? DK isn't an 'exes' kind of person but probably has messed around a little. Maybe fwb but nothing more serious.

- idk I am down for pretty much anything. He can be a chance acquaintance in any kind of scenario, as someone who is down for pretty much whatever and GENERALLY somewhat helpful.

Any other notes:
His AU is pretty loose rn, but he's basically a Jack-of-all-trades handyman type who lives in a converted vehicle and rides a motorcycle. His AU name is Tamahagane Kuon(Tama to his friends), but to escape from the cutesy nickname he calls himself Titanium.

He likes to adhere to an aesthetic, and the one he'd chosen is 'punk/bad boy' style, and it isn't ALL just the looks. He is the sort to enjoy going to a dive bar and listening to live, amateur artists, smoking, and getting into fights now and again. On the other hand, he is a huge nerd who prefers to spend evenings tinkering in his garage. I'll make sure to write this up in a little better on my profile, my brain is still warming up

Lith also rides!! Can they be bros who smoke and work on their bikes 2gether AND will he answer lithiums frantic calls at 2 am because his cat got into his weed cookies

ABSOLUTELY! And he will answer those calls, and come over to help, but he will also call him dumb about it. XD

Could have done Brocade's star tats. He got new ones after every MMA match he won. Bigger the fight, the bigger the stars. Hadn't put in an order for years now.

That would be excellent! He would definitely ask about that the next time he sees Brocade then :3c

copper could potentially be like, a consultant if he's not sure of a tattoo look just because she's also an artist? but she only just left the facility with rose and mercury so she's fairly new on the scene still...

How likely is it Titanium has swung by Ore’s shop/occasionally used it as a workspace? My guy has only been back in the city for four months and has amnesia for all the time prior to that so the shop would be their likeliest touchstone that he’d actually remember.

Alt. he does go to bars sometimes so if you want ‘casual drinking buddy’ I am up for that too.

I cannot think of any reason Mercury would have met him but I LOOK FORWARD TO GAINING CR IN PLAY

Lea fixes stuff up at The Shop, if he'd have ever brought his motorcycle or anything else by!

Hey Deca!

Till often performs at bars, clubs, and smaller gigs as an aspiring rockstar! He also works at a bar at LEAST once a night, so he could have seen him around! I'm not sure how old Tama is, though I'm imagining he's a little older. Regardless, Forte's gotten up to some trouble before, but since Hyuna sorta took him in when he was still a teen he didn't get into anything tooooooo crazy. More like punk kid things like graffiti (he still does graffiti sometimes), occasionally stole while younger before Hyuna took him in, and had has probably done weed or other things occasionally, but is pretty... up and up actually. (He's too busy working and trying to make music to get fucked up too often lol)

Anyway...! I mostly just want Deca CR!!!

Imeeji!Tsukasa is also here. Though in his AU he was raised in a shrine and has barely left the shrine and only just convinced his parents to attend school. So I can't imagine they would have ever crossed paths unless he had gone to the shrine for some reason. lol

For sure! I can definitely see Tama recognizing Till from some bar shows or something else in that vein! He's about mid-thirties so a little older, but still close enough in age to be "cool" lol. They probably run in adjacent circles, but Tama is a lil more of a burnout- he doesn't hold down a real job so much as get called in for whatever handiwork folks need doing, so he takes plenty of time to himself to get blasted xD

I can imagine he'd have gone to shrines but he's by NO means a regular, maybe just stopping by if he thinks he needs luck.

Tama my guys, where's the motivation.

His motivation goes into his projects! He likes to tinker, but he just doesn't have the attention for book-learning(Canon DK has the attention but that's because he's Eternity years old)
