AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

✯Established Characters

For established characters, you can use this post as well! If you have an "open to all" type of CR where you're always needing a certain type of CR, you can do that here! This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Whenever you reach your CR limit, feel free to comment to your toplevel with the header CLOSED to let new players know that you're not taking any more CR for the time being (of course you can still tag new potential players!). It will also close automatically once the new monthly post goes up.

For Shura:

I simply think there is something very funny about the [extreme family perfectionism/untouchable vibe] [lol gojo] and [truly the system is corrupt and theres nothing you can do but snap under the weight and pressure] [lol geto] combo. I'M NOT TIED DOWN TO THE ACADEMY BEING STUCK IN HOLY ORDER SO IT'S A-OK THAT IT'S SOMEWHERE ELSE, as long as its super prestigious. Imagine it was just something as simple as Nanamin offering Geto an eraser and this alone stressed him out (or vice versa), and then it was "i will die for you" energy. It is funny in my brain.

IDK IF ITS JUST NANAMIN KILLING SHADY GUYS OR NOT, its mostly more like trying to keep it somewhat morally ambiguous cuz playing "evil murderer cuz murdering ppl is hot" doesn't do it for me in rp but if there's a creative way of delving further into bad crimes and I figure it out, I'll let you know.

OKAY LISTEN ¿POR QUÉ NO LOS DOS?

- Fancy academy for (forcefully) gifted children where they meet over a borrowed eraser and maybe quietly they start bonding and realize they're the same stressed as fuck picture and imprint.

- At some point they lost touch due to Nanamin's parents transferring him to an even more prestigious school or something and they were both buried under expectations and a million extracurricular activities and GOODBYE MY ONLY FRIEND.

- They're both stupid and awkward and full of issues so probably they never tried to get back in touch.

IN THE PRESENT, the Hazy Killer may have targeted one of Shura's clients and actually gotten away with murder or NOT bc Shura is very competent or maybe it was a draw. idk. listen I am shameless and I think friends to enemies could be very funny in this context

alt: Shura's a semi-regular at Frost's, maybe they've seen each other in passing and failed to recognize each other bc Shura grew his hair out and Nanami is now 57 years old

or they don't meet again until the ship I'M OKAY WITH EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING, lmk what would be more fun for you

I think it'd be cute to let Shura prove himself competent and cool in this case, and it also kind of keeps them on an even playing field so lets keep it that way.

Since I plan to give Nanamin a face-concealing power of some sort, he will 100000000% use it every time Shura is there, thanks!!!! It'd be funny because people might talk about the old grandpa regular who always stops by and Shura can be like ??????????
