AU Backstory Planning Post

Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!

Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

✯Established Characters

For established characters, you can use this post as well! If you have an "open to all" type of CR where you're always needing a certain type of CR, you can do that here! This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Whenever you reach your CR limit, feel free to comment to your toplevel with the header CLOSED to let new players know that you're not taking any more CR for the time being (of course you can still tag new potential players!). It will also close automatically once the new monthly post goes up.

Flat | Top-Level Comments Only

Hmmm....! Part of Tsukasa's deal in LL is that his parents are kinda shitty in that they have an incredible amount of expectations placed on him, too, without really taking into account his own feelings/well-being/etc. They're also very rich and own a shrine, where they sorta have made him a figurehead for being 'lucky'. So people will come pray to/ask him for his blessing. And most of the time it's just him saying something kind, but he is expected to use his actual blessing for others as well, which leaves him drained/it backfiring on him, unless having recooperated or sunbathed (you're already familiar with his blessing) for a while.

They aren't EVIL. And they do love him in their own way. But also they are using the hell out of him for what they would claim is the sake of the family, and kept him mostly isolated and separated from others until the most recent year. SO LIKE... I could see him seeing a little of himself in that possibly, when it comes with the pressure of having endless expectations placed on you.

They have other businesses and ventures they take care of and are old money, so rather well known. He'd at least know the family's name. THAT SAID. Their branch family is known for being shifty and into darker things, which he might know a little about from similar circles...? I'll leave that mostly blank though since Dzel can speak for Felt and the branch family at large.

Either way...! It's another possible connection, even if they haven't like... interacted before (or at least not much).

JUST AN IDEA.

Likewise... I mean I am happy to toss Till your way as well. But while Till's a lil punk he's honestly just a fighty boy who wants to make music. He's been in trouble with the law before and run from the cops but it's been dumb stuff like graffiti and the like. He's not really doing anything dangerous or shifty.

THERE IS LITERALLY A GUY IN HIS CANON THAT IS TILL-ADJACENT who is like his kouhai, he's kinda a punk but cute so if they could just have CR, that'd be cute.

And at the least, Tsukasa's family would definitely be the type of people who would be AWARE of such a criminal like Nanamin because people in their circle were definitely targets. I'm down to see how they shake out though for CR *+*

yes yes to all of these things. The worst person in Tsukasa's family is his grandfather who is a BIG SCARY GUY WITH LOTS OF POWER. The whole family doesn't contradict him because SCARY AND STRONK BLESSING /handwaves whatever it is because idk obviously.

AND CUTE. New kouhai time. I look forward to all of this. ☆
