MARCH AU PLANNING POST
AU Backstory Planning Post
✯Information
Every month, we'll have a post where new characters and old characters can plan out backstories with one another. This should hopefully get characters something to work with when coming up with their alternate universes and get some prebuilt CR for those who are looking for it! This is NOT a requirement, you could be an unattached person if you'd like! However, for those who do want it, this is the place for you!
Before you start with making an AU, I would recommend getting familiar with some of the information to get an idea of how the setting works here.

Thank you for having interest in joining! When you post your comment looking to plot, please toplevel the post with NEW CHARACTER | CHARACTER CANON NAME (CANON) and then fill out the following:

Potential Family Option: List the teams you're considering! Nothing here is permanent/guaranteed.
AU idea(s): What kind of story are you looking to have? Did you have multiple ideas but not sure which one you like? List em here! If you're amnesia, go ahead and list that too!
Roles/CR you're interested in: Parent looking for kids, teachers looking for students, neighborhood cat looking for pets, local gamer needing ppl to dunk on, etc. Just a general idea of some things you're interested in.

This includes a restaurant needing regular patrons or a teacher needing students, guinea pigs for experiments, etc. Open to All is literally Open to All, it is never closed until the OP player adds a CLOSED comment so if you're a new player, don't feel like you're overwhelming them by commenting!!

Whenever you reach your CR limit, feel free to comment to your toplevel with the header CLOSED to let new players know that you're not taking any more CR for the time being (of course you can still tag new potential players!). It will also close automatically once the new monthly post goes up.

SO BASICALLY THE TYPE OF STUFF THAT MIGHT'VE COME UP would probably be like "We got a lore drop on how much Haeyeon makes but HE DOESN'T SEEM TO SPEND *WHAT IS HE UP TO?* /makes up some stupid nonsense that will piss off his fans and get Booker hateclicks" or "THAT'S WAY TOO MUCH MONEY, ARE PEOPLE CRAZY?" or "YOU KNOW HE ISN'T EVEN ACTUALLY GETTING THAT MUCH BECAUSE (/stops and complains about how the siren's business model takes advantage of its talents)"
Or possibly "I can't believe he got cast again he's TOO POPULAR this guy is RUINING SHIT FOR OTHER PEOPLE BY TAKING ALL THE JOBS" or "ONCE HAEYEON SNUFFED A FAN TRYING TO GET HIS AUTOGRAPH (BECAUSE HE WAS IN A BIG HURRY TO GO SOMEWHERE ELSE) AND NOW PEOPLE ARE RECONSIDERING HIS TRUE COLORS"
And of course a certain amount of "AS YOU CAN SEE HIS TALENT IS ONLY IN HIS LOOKS SO HE'LL BE WASHED UP IN LIKE 5 YEARS TOPS"
Basically a bunch of nothingburgers none-the-less excellently served up to incite fury among Haeyeon's fanbase for the benefit of SQUID'S fanbase getting to watch a bunch of people be buttmad 👌
He would not have done relationship gossip tho that specifically is something he avoids because (booker is weird about this) so he's safe on that angle.
and then yes that's a bomb to go off one day. Booker does not tell anyone he's demonic squid so it's entirely up to when it ICly comes out. OOCly I don't think they would've met. He has heard that Frost had an ex who Booker reminds him of tho so that will be fun.
